Excised a lesion on my lip that went very deep. Called me immediately when the pathology report came in to ease my mind. The repair was very successful and for the first time in many years I have a lower lip that looks perfect. No scarring or disfigurement. Dr. Abrol was very caring and available. I highly recommend!
My whole life I have struggled to breathe through my nose. I never felt like I was getting air through my nostrils. I always thought it was a deviated septum. In recent years, it became a lot worse, and I eventually became so desperate to breathe through my nose, often times only being able to breathe through my mouth, I became dependent on Afrin just to get through the day. It was just miserable. I finally went to TOC and visited with Dr. Abrol. He did a really thorough examination of the inside of my nose. He quickly determined it was not a deviated septum, but the real issue was my malformed nasal passages. I needed an overhaul in there! He was so extremely patient and kind, while he explained the real issue. He and his staff sent the preauthorization to my insurance company quicker than lightening! A few weeks later, he did extensive grafting work, and even removed a bone spur I didn't even know I had!! When the splints came out a week after surgery, I could actually breathe through my nose like a normal person, after all these years!! I can even jump on my elliptical and do an hour like it is nothing, now! I used to get out of breath immediately, and always thought it was because of my lungs! I have not had to use Afrin to breathe, since! The intricate, extensive, complex surgery he did inside my nose, is downright miraculous. I have no doubt he would be just as incredible and thorough at any face and neck surgery, as well. He is extremely talented, and super compassionate. I could not be happier. For the first time in my life, I know what it is like to have full air flowing through both nostrils.
Dr. Abrol repaired a large wound on the side of my nose that was the result of skin cancer removal. The reconstruction included graphing cartilage from my septum and skin from my cheek. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. His workmanship is exquisite! Dr. Abrol explained the surgeries in clear language and encouraged questions. He made himself available at all hours post surgeries for any questions or concerns. I am planning to have an unrelated surgery and I will definitely have Dr. Abrol perform it. I have highly recommended him to my friends.
Dr Abrol was extremely attentive as I have a general fear of the doctor's office and this was my first time getting Botox. I was in desperate need and he took the time to explain what he was doing, as he was doing it, and never made me feel ridiculous about my fears. I loved the effect and that he didn't completely change the way I looked! It was subtle yet effective removing the lines between my eyebrows and forehead lines. I so appreciate his thoughtfulness and expertise.
Excellent! Dr. Abrol is patient centered, professional, and has an amazing bedside manner! He takes his time. Explains each procedure and the results you should see. I am very happy with the results from my filler and Botox treatments my Dr. Abrol. I trust his medical opinion and services. I highly recommend him to my family and friends!!
Up until recently, Dr Abrol is the ONLY person I would like do my botox (the only reason I let someone else now is because we live in different states). He always takes the time to make sure you understand what you're getting as well as making sure he understands what you want. I was really nervous the first two times I went, and he took time to calm my nerves and walk me through everything. It was the best experience and he's set a really high bar for my future appointments! You'll be so glad you went to him!!
As you have had previous surgery due to trauma, I would recommend that you see a surgeon who is experienced in facial plastic surgery and nasal airway surgery. These can be either ENT or plastic surgeons who have done additional training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Your specific situation may be difficult due to previous surgery/trauma and the possible need to support your septum with grafts.
I typically recommend that my patients take it easy for the first few days after a facelift, especially if they are requiring pain medications. You will likely have some swelling and bruising, but you should be able to work from home at about 5 days after surgery. If you feel like you are overdoing it, then I would recommend working for shorter intervals between breaks.
There are multiple options to address the wrinkles around your eyes. Tear trough filler is best for a volume deficiency. By adding volume, this can cause some of the wrinkles underneath your eyes to resolve. However this is not a lasting result as filler will dissolve. You can consider a lower blepharoplasty to redrape the fat pads underneath the eyes. At the same time, skin can be excised to reduce the appearance of your wrinkles. Alternatively, a TCA peel or CO2 laser can be performed at the same time to tighten your skin. Lastly, you can also consider a Halo laser treatment, but this may require multiple sessions.
Typically rasping is performed on the bony parts of the nose to help smooth the contour. For the nasal dorsum, it can have an effect of the dorsal cartilage, but considerable force can fracture the cartilage. The nasal tip can be a delicate area and any rasping here can cause contour irregularities. To manage irregularities of the nasal tip or supratip, usually fascia or cartilage grafts can be placed to correct the deformity.
A functional rhinoplasty will usually result in grafts being placed to help support and strengthen the nose. However, with any trauma there is always a risk of the grafts weakening or fracturing. The grafts are usually secured to surrounding structures with sutures, but any trauma can potentially cause them to migrate. If this does happen, revision surgery can be performed to reposition or replace the grafts if needed. Depending on the how much septal cartilage is available for a revision surgery, cartilage may need to be taken from the ear or rib to create new grafts. At the very least, I would recommend wearing a protective face mask while playing sports after surgery.
