I had Botox in my masseter done around 5 days ago. When I eat & chew now my jaw muscles protrudes outwards and looks weird.

You may have some swelling or it may be surrounding muscles engaging to work for the treated muscles. However, it can take up to 2 weeks for final results. I would wait a full two weeks before assessing results. Hope this helps.

Botox in the master muscles can slim the lower third of the face and also help with jaw pain from excessive clenching. Early asymmetry after treatment is common as the muscles adapt. A follow-up treatment 2 weeks later can help target areas where the muscle has overcompensated.
