I had botox injected into my masseters around 5 days ago. A couple days after the injection, I have been noticing that whenever I eat and chew, my jaw muscles protrudes outwards and makes my jawline look very weird. It actually looks like the masserter has gone larger. Just wondering if this is the botox working or is it a side effect. I have heard it takes a couple of weeks to see results, so maybe the muscle will eventually go down and it won't protrude out when I chew?
