Little Piece of String Found on Bridge of my Nose After Rhinoplasty?

Hi , i had a small what i thought was a white head poking out of the bridge of my nose .. im 17 days post op after a rhino plasty ,....... i got some tweezers and pinched it without touching my nose , pulled it out and it ended up being a little peice of white string about a cm long maybe slightly longer :O ... have i pulled out anything important , i have no idea why it was poking out but now im really stressed that iv moved something important , any ideas ? x
