Itchy red bumps at back of donor area after hair transplant. What should I do to make this go away? (Photo)

I have red bumps in my donor area that make me itchy when I touch them and one red pimple in recipient area. Doctor is out of country so can’t see her for follow up. I hope this is not an infection. I am 19 daya post op. What should I do to make this go away? Thank you.

From your story and the photos this needs to be addressed by a physician in person, preferably by the person who operated on you.  You say your doctor is out o the country- if you mean she is local but on vacation there should be someone covering who you can see.  If you traveled out of the country for surgery then you will need to fin someone local.

The itchiness on the donor area is part of the healing process. we recommend to use anti-bacterial ointment on the donor area to treat the red pimple. you need to contact your surgeon.

You report and show some red bumps which bother you. These may be buried grafts from the fUE and you need to see a surgeon to determine if this is the case as they may have to be drained.
