I am very much concerned about the eye bag as it seems to be getting worse. I take care of my skin well and have a good lifestyle (never smoked, never had alcohol, cleanse moisturise, SPF etc etc). I recently started doing an oil treatment with vitamin e, sweet almond and coconut oil which isnt helping. I dont want to undergo surgery and dont want my smile effected by any treatment.

I WOULD TRY FILLERS BEFORE GOING IN AND DOING SURGERY , THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FAT TRANSFER AND FILLERS ARE FILLER ARE LESS INVASIVE AND CAN LAST 6-9 MONTHS SOMETIMES UP TO A YEAR DEPENDING ON WHICH ONES. FAT TRANSFERS ARE USUALLY SURGICALLY DONE WITH LIPO AND TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER AREA OF THE BODY. A FAT TRANSFER CAN ALSO BE DONE THROUGH A LOCAL AFTER SURGERY FOR A REPEAT FAT INJECTION. FAT INJECTIONS OR TRANSFERS ARE USUALLY MORE PERMANENT. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT YOU MAY WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT IN A CONSULTATION AND SEE WHAT YOUR OPTIONS ARE.

Dear Trafford,It appears from your photos that you suffer with crinkles when you smile. This is related to 1) the health of the overlying skin 2) muscle forces under the skin. There is a muscle called the orbicularis muscle which runs under the skin around the eyes. This causes the wrinkling you're seeing there when you smile. Botox can be used to relax muscles in this area and I suggest you see an Oculoplastic specialist in your area for evaluation and assistance. I hope this was helpful.

I would consider treatment with conservative amount of dermal fillers and/or skin resurfacing to the area.  See a specialist to learn more and the risks/ benefits of each treatment.

You do not have I bags..  You do have discoloration of the lower eyelids which is caused by thin skin which allows the purple color of the muscle to show through.  Do not have fillers, injecting fillers will make the problem worse.
He do not need surgery.  Wrinkling with smiling can be helped with Botox in the crow's feet area.  However color changes the skin is very difficult and involves laser treatments with the 1549 ablative fractional erbium laser.  You must have high protection was Shields over the eyes during treatment..
