Is no leaking after a BBL normal?

I've read alot about how you're supposed to be leaking and wetting towels or blankets ect.. but I have not leaked and im on my 5 day after surgery. I'm just wondering if it is normal not to leak at all?

it's normal to have fluid drainage after a bbl or liposuction surgery. If your not experiencing it you may need to have some of the fluid aspirated in office. There are times when the fluid is mostly removed during the liposuction as well and patients have little to no leakage. Followup with your surgeon soon for an exam.Best

Some surgeons leave the small incisions for liposuction or fat grafting open after the surgery. The idea is that some drainage will be helpful and avoid excessive swelling.I routinely close the incisions and the fluid is absorbed by your body. I suspect that your surgeon used a similar technique.

Hello dear!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Leaking after BBL depend on your body reaction, on the amount of fat removed and the healing process. I recommend you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon to know his/her instructions.Good luck :)
