Which filler is best for upper eyelid hollowing: Restalyne or Belotero?

Is restalyne or belotero better and why? Is there another better type of filler for the upper eyelid? How do doctors prevent bumps and lumps in such a thin area as the upper eyelid?

Generally speaking, no fillers should be used in the upper or the lower eyelid area where the skin is extremely thin with a very strong muscle surrounding the eye. The squeezing action of that muscle causes the filler to migrate, creating bumps and bagginess. The best filler for around the eye area is the patients own fat. When fat grafting is done by an expert plastic surgeon, the results are natural and permanent. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
