A pseudobursa in the lower abdomen forms when there is a seroma that encapsulates; I have tried multiple conservative measures including endoscopic approaches to try to suck out and cauterize the bursa shot, but have not had any success. Fortunately, the definitive treatment is removal of the bursa surgically. Although this does require surgery, I have been successful everytime with this infrequent complication. Thank you for the question and at this point in time a resection of the bursa is probably the best idea.  You can try putting various antibiotic solutions into the cavity put it is now probably too well developedDr. Corbin

 If the seroma in the bursa has not resolved in 2 years, then the best way to treat it is with surgical excision of the bursa lining and reclosure of the wound over a drain.  I realize that this is an uncomfortable expense, but if repeated needle aspiraton and drainage has not collapsed it, then surgery is your best option.
