Will Laser Genesis get rid of facial telangiectasia?

18 months ago, I had a TCA peel that was too strong for my skin (took over 3 weeks to recover) and left my face pink/red with extremely tiny veins all over. The redness is not extreme and the veins can only be seen if I look really closely at my skin. If I have Laser Genesis treatments every 2-3 weeks, would the redness and tiny veins eventually go away completely?

So, the million dollar question within your question is: will the vessels completely go away?  You can never guarantee that they will 100% go away but you can definitely get rid of some, if not most, of them.  The laser genesis is performed with 1064nm wavelength laser.  This will also treat vessels deeper in the skin.  It sounds like you are talking about more superficial vessels, however.  These are best treated with a pulse dye laser or a 532nm wavelength laser.  
So most of the time the laser that performs the Genesis treatment is paired, within the same machine, a 532 laser.  This is the Excel V laser.  Your provider can change over to the 532 and treat the vessels pretty easily.  You will probably need 3 or more treatments and I would space them apart by six weeks.  This allows time for the damaged vessels to be absorbed and eliminated so you can see what is left over and direct treatment to those areas.
This treatment has a high success rate so I suspect you will have very nice results.  Best of luck to you,

The laser genesis method is great for healing. This will take 2-3 months. What ever redness of teles that are left can be treated with a specific laser, includes PDL, 532 KTP or even 1064 in the non - genesis mode. All the best, Dr Davin Lim
