I’m considering laser genesis for my large pores on my cheek and nose area and for fine lines on forehead and around mouth. I’ve been reading about it and some people get a rash or allergic reactions. Are such reactions common? Is this a safe procedure?
Answer: Laser Genesis Sensitivity Hello, Laser genesis is an overall safe non-invasive laser treatment. It works by helping to restore skin tone, large pores, & mild wrinkles with no downtime. It is suggested to do at least 3-6 treatments. Some mild irritation can occur after a laser treatment. If so, it usually subsides quickly. Try to avoid all vitamin A or irritating products 3 days prior and after your treatment to reduce your chance of a reaction. Use a hydrating moisturizer & SPF after your treatments and avoid sun exposure. Always search for a reputable laser center. Thank You & Well Wishes, Dr Rosy Sandhu

Answer: Laser Genesis Hello and thank you for your question! Laser Genesis is a great option for improving skin texture and tone as well as treating hyperpigmentation. Our office uses it to treat facial redness and other forms of hyperpigmentation. This is a non-invasive laser that gently heats the dermal layer just below the surface of the skin. This stimulates the production of new collagen, which will be used to reduce the appearance of pigmented lesions. It will also help with the overall tone and texture of your complexion as well as with minimizing pore size. The non-invasive nature of this treatment results in little to no downtime, so patients can resume their daily activities right away. While side effects are generally not an issue with this procedure, some patients might experience facial redness after their treatment. However, this should subside within a few hours. It is recommended to get about four to six treatments to see optimal results, but this can vary depending on the size and depth of the area of concern. Be mindful that initial results are subtle, but with each successive treatment they become more apparent. You should consult a medical provider to determine if you will be a good fit for Laser Genesis and to create a treatment plan for your specific case. If this is something you would be interested in, I recommend that you search for providers in your area that offer Laser Genesis treatments. Hope this helps!

Answer: Laser Genesis Hi, thank you for your question. Laser Genesis is a safe non invasive laser treatment that helps minimize pore appearance, stimulate collagen, and rejuvenate the skin. The treatment has essentially no downtime, as it leaves the skin pink for about 20 minutes. A reaction or rash is highly unlikely to occur. If you do have an allergic reaction or develop a rash, I would go see a Board Certified Dermatologist. Please seek a certified health care provider to determine if you are an ideal candidate for the treatment.
