I had surgery for an orbital floor fracture about 2 months ago. They placed a metal plate in my face. I didn't have surgery until 2 weeks after the injury. I think the surgery made my eye recess back much more than before and I have a lump under my eye where the plate is and its higher than on the other side. Did the surgery make it worse and if there is any way I'd look the same again? What would have to be done to correct it?
