Is hair removal treatment effective after 1 yr gap or wait till September and start fresh, then continue through the winter?

Thank you for your question. The hair follicles that were previously treated have been destroyed. Therefore, having a delay in treatment will not affect your outcome. It just will take longer for you to see the final results. Best of Luck!

The hair follicles that were treated previously have been detroyed.  Therefore going forward a delay in treatment will not effect the ultimate outcome.  It just will take longer to see the final results. You can have a treatment done in June and then wait until September without any problem.

Thank you for your question.  I actually get asked this question quite often.  When you have a treatment with a laser for hair removal, the follicles that are treated are gone for good.  Whatever hair growth you see after a couple of weeks are follicles that haven't been treated yet.  If you spread out your treatments, it will take longer to achieve your goal but you aren't starting all over.  The hairs growing are new follicles.  If you have a treatment before your June trip, you aren't wasting your money.  You may however have a summer with a little less fuss and maintenance!  Good luck and don't forget your sunscreen!  Dr. DiPasquale
