Should I visit my GP about this? I had a very dark mole removed about 10 years ago and lately it has started, for want of a better expression, to "tingle". I don't want to waste anyone's time but its such an unpleasant feeling, I am concerned. As this is on the nape of my neck, I cannot get a good enough picture to download anything. The area feels raised, but it doesn't look to be turning darker. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

It will be more difficult to visualise a mole if it has been traumatised, but some characteristics should still be present. If you mole has changed at all (change in size, shape, diameter, pigment, ulceration bleeding) than have it checked out.
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Moles can be removed with laser, radiowave or shave. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
