IPL and Duac/Tetracycline For Moderate Acne?

I currently have moderate acne mostly on chin area and slight redness or nose and cheeks.I am thinking of having IPL done.I am currently taking 300mg of Tetracycline over 6 months and Duac cream (clindamycin benzoyl peroxide) should I discontinue these before IPL?Also are there any other laser treatments for acne that can be recommended?

I would recommend that you see a physician who is skilled in using IPL laser.  A test spot may be done prior to the full treatment to see how your skin will react.

In addition to the topical numbing cream (combination of benzocaine, lidocaine, and tetracaine), we use cold air that is applied to the treated area at the same time the laser is being used.
