Hi! Im loving my new nose :) and I wanted to fix some broken capillars which formed on top of my bridge (I have very sensitive skin, not surprised this happened!) Would you say that 2.5 months post op are enough to proceed with some IPL/laser for capillaries removal? Thank you!
Im 41 w/ fair skin thats prone to discoloration & broken capillaries. Throughout the years Ive had about 10 IPL treatments without any issues. Saturday I had a treatment & later that day I developed dark red & purple marks all over my face. For point of reference its been about 7 yrs since my last IPL. The marks shown are all a result of the IPL. I had no prior marks in those areas. Should I be concerned about permanent damage? Is there anything I can do to expedite healing?
I've got some broken capillaries on my face (mostly my nose, shown in the picture) they are really aggravating! I've had some broken capillaries before but they have faded away on their own in the past, these ones seem more stubborn.ive heard that the only real treatment is lasers, but I have heard that red light therapy, and even at home IPLs work (supposedly).Id be open to getting professional lasers, especially if they can just spot laser my nose rather than my whole face, if that's a thing.
I want to go for an IPL for rosacea flushing, but I know people who have said that IPL made their flushing worse for a month after the treatment & broken capillaries worse. How is this possible? I also know it can treat flushing so Im confused!
Hi, hope someone can help. I just paid $1500 for one treatment of Fraxel and I wanted it to get rid of my red broken capillaries and red in my cheeks and chin. It's not gone. My doc said it won't go away from Fraxel (wish I knew that earlier). WHAT is the best laser out there that will get rid of it?? I feel I'm spending too much money and not getting the results. PLEASE HELP :o( BBL???? IPL???? Laser Genesis ????
I am almost ready to go see a Dr. about my Broken Capillaries. I have gotten some great information about the IPL. I also have some broken capillaries under and around (the eye bag area) that are purple and blue. These are larger than the Broken Capillaries that are on my cheeks. Can the purple and blue veins be treated with an IPL? How close to under the eye can you get?
I have some capillaries on the top, bottom and middle of my nose and also on my cheek and am hoping to get them removed. My question is this...is an IPL safe when fired this close to the eyes? I wore Laser-Aid Disposable Eye Shields by Honeywell when I had ear hair removed but I could still see bright white flashes when the IPL was fired off so I know I will see even brighter flashes if I get my nose and face treated. Is this normal and safe to see flashes? How do I protect my eyes?
