Can I eliminate Montgomery glands (pimples on nipples) with no scarring? (Photo)

Hi and thank you for the question. Yes it is a relatively easy procedure that can be done in the office under local anesthesia. The scars are usually quite inconspicuous. Find a board certified plastic surgeon near you with a great reputation for cosmetic breast surgery. Best of luck.

Everyone has these little glands as they secrete lubrication to help with breast feeding but some patients have more of them and sometimes they become very prominent. They are very easy to remove and I frequently remove them during other breast surgeries, or correction of inverted nipples or when reducing large nipples, but I just surgical excise them and let them healing in by themselves and they heal very well. The advantage of operating on the areola and removing these is they leave very well concealed scars so I personally do not see a need to involve a laser. You can always just have one of them removed with some local anesthetic and then see how it scars and then decided whether you need to pursue laser treatment or just return for direct excision in the office under local anesthetic if you are happy with how it heals.
