Thanks for posting the photo. It does look like you have some firm breast tissue just behind your nipple which is making it looked stretched and puffy. The rest of your chest does not look too bad.Liposuction is unlikely to be helpful for such a small localised area. You may require surgery through a small cut around the lower part of the nipple (areola) to remove the firm breast tissue causing the swelling. You have not mentioned your age. It is important to be aware that this condition is common during puberty and often settles down on its own afterwards.
Hi and thank you for the question. Based on the photo you provided it looks like you have gynecomastia. This breast tissue can be removed either by excising it or use of liposuction. In our office we typically see gynecomastia in teenagers and men in their 50's. In most cases it is caused by fluctuations in hormones (puberty and senescence), but it can also be caused by a variety of medications, marijuana and, in rare cases, tumors. I would suggest that you find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who can evaluate you and go over your options in person. Best of luck to you.Dr West
