I have a buldge undermy TT scar. I had my TT over 9 months ago. I went back to the same surgeon and had lipo in the area 3 months ago. It's still there. I would really like to get rid of it. Also, I stll wear my garmet when I can because it helps with the pulling sensation. Any advice is welcome.
Answer: Abdomen You may have a small collection of fluid called a seroma, which can occur after liposuction or a tummy tuck. An examination is needed to be certain, and perhaps ultrasound. Or perhaps, the tightened muscle came undone in that area. Please go back to your surgeon.

Answer: Lower abdomen bulge Dear Terrific8667, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: TT revision An examination is required to determine the cause of the bulge. The bulge may be caused by excess skin, fat or weakness in the muscle wall. Good luck.

Answer: Bulge after tummy tuck The contour of the abdomen is usually because of skin, fat or muscle contour. It’s unlikely skin is contributing but to assess skin pull on it and see if it changes the contour. To assess the thickness of subcutaneous fat gently push with the tip of one finger gently until you feel the underlying muscle wall. This will tell you if the fat layer is even and the same in all parts of your abdomen and will also give you an idea of what the contour of your muscle wall is. if the problem is bulging of your muscle wall then you have a problem that’s difficult to correct. It’s a little hard to make an assessment based on the one single picture. Generally anybody who’s had previous surgery should always shower before and after pictures when wanting an assessment. If you don’t have proper before and after pictures then ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Skin excess after TT Based on your photos, the skin has been removed inadequately. thats the reason revision lipo did not work. You would likely benefit from a high definition tummy tuck using high definition VASER liposuction. The tummy tuck procedure would comprehensively remove excess skin and fat in the abdominal region. The abdominal muscle would also be 'tightened' to create the appearance of a flatter stomach. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a tummy tuck specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
