Just wanted to know if internal nasal splints contribute significantly to the bigger, wider & upturned appearance of the nose after rhinoplasty. I also wanted to know how long it would take the tip to drop from that upturned position after the splints and stitches have been removed.

To the extent that your nose will be a bit smaller, you might think that your cheeks are more noticeable. If you think your cheeks are too large now, then you might think they look larger afterwards. No one can predict this.
