Regret after laser beard removal. Will it grow back?

Hi and thank you for your question! Laser is only effective on hair follicles that are actively growing and at any given time, usually not more than 10-20% of hair follicles are in this phase. Hence, for best results we recommend around 6 sessions of laser treatment for most areas. If you had just 1 session of laser, the vast majority of the hair follicles in your beard are most likely unaffected and you should expect near full regrowth after a few months. If you have only had one session so far, it is very likely that the majority of the hair will return, though it may grow back more slowly than usual. Best of luck!

Laser hair removal (LHR) treatments generally may remove up to 80% of hair with multiple treatments (4-5 sessions). If youve only had one treatment you should have some regrowth in the area. What is it that you want?  Partial or complete facial hair reduction/removal? Either is possible, but I urge to go to an experienced center, preferably one that is run by a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist, so that you get the most knowledgeable and experienced providers possible. Hello, thank you for your question.  If you only had 1 session, you should see a significant amount of re-growth, over time.  The reason why you have to complete multiple sessions of laser hair reduction to make it successful is because there is only about 20% of the total hair follicles in the area that was treated that were in the "growth cycle".  The other 80% at rest, transitioning and shedding should not be affected.  Over time, the re-growth should be returning back to almost normal.Good Luck!

If you only had one treatment to that area, then yes the hair will come back. It may be a bit thinner in that area, and will take longer for it to grow back. I would give it a good month but eventually it will come back. I hope this helps
