Flat mole on neck: Will removing it leave a scar?

i want to remove mole on neck ,it's flat mole,but i doubt,is possible remove mole without leaving scar? what's the best method to remove mole? laser or cauter? and by dermatologist or plastic surgeon? and do mole removal is safe and do not make cancer or anything bad? Thank you

Any method of removing a mole will leave a scar! However, a shave excision will give the best chance of minimizing the scar and is the easiest and most cost effective way of removing the majority of
moles on the neck. With this method the mole is actually "shaved off" at a
level just below the surface of the skin. The tissue that has been removed can
then be sent for microscopic examination to make sure the mole is benign.
Dermatologic surgeons are experts at doing this procedure.
