This should be fine, but I recommend following up with your Doctor about their after care protocol and recommendations regarding Vitamin C after Co2. PDT therapy and lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) can improve any redness and inflammation post Co2. I also recommend skin care with vitamin c, b5 hydrator, silicone based scar gels with growth factors and enzymatic washes with papaya enzyme. Sun protection is essential. See an expert. Vitamin C intake at 1,000 mg per day will certainly help things along, but how much it will improve and speed things up is questionable? Remember, the intake of anything goes systemically. Therefore, your face is getting about 5% of the benefit the rest of your skin is getting. Subtract from that what the rest of the body tissues are receiving,.... well you get the idea. I recommend a good topical vitamin C serum with your daily dose to help things along more. Make sure to wait till your skin is no longer sensitive. I wish you the best and that you achieve your desired results.Warmly,Arbella Sarkis, MD

Hi and thank you for your question. I am not sure I have seen this with my fractionated CO2 laser. I suspect it is due to the density and power settings and how the tissues react in certain people. If the density is less on a deep pass, the grid pattern could be more evident....
