I have have been looking for alternatives to under eye fillers. I was wondering if PRP injections would help minimize the appearance of hollowness under my eyes. Along with lasers, microneedling, chemical peels etc would it improve this area? I’m 26 years old
Answer: EzPRF Pro Injections From what I am able to assess from your photos your undereye hollows do not appear to be extensiv. Because of this I believe you would be a great candidate for ex-PRF Pro injections to the undereyes. PRF to the undereyes is an amazing treatment that is wonderful for those looking to rejuvenate their infraorbital hollows while avoiding using a hyaluronic acid filler. In my experience I’ve seen incredible results with PRF to treat dark circles and hollow undereyes. Even more revolutionary than PRF is ezPRF Pro which changes the structure of PRF from liquid to gel. The gel formed PRF mimics a filler which allows us to fill the hollows providing a more rested appearance while still combating dark circles and providing continued results from the growth factors. Turning the PRF into a filler consistency allows it to last longer than the liquid PRF and I have seen results last an average of 6 months. Going forward, I would recommend you to complete multiple in office consultations with board certified experts to discuss your aesthetic goals. This way, they can work alongside you to determine your best treatment option. Best of luck, Kian Karimi MD, FACS

Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles -- Fillers Belotero, Volbella; Fraxel/Halo; emeragecosmetics ENLIGHTEN/AERIFY/COSMELAN PRP doenst help under eye hollows. fillers do in office. at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (emerageskin roller with anteage MD ampules) should be started now. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will such as lower eyelid blepharoplasty with or without fat pad repositioning will be the best long term. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles without surgery. Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels, and microneedling RF like Fractora or morpheus can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spot treatment can tighten the skin and give very quick improvement in wrinkles and texture. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Revitalizing Under-Eye Volume PRP injections are an excellent option for restoring volume and reducing the appearance of dark circles or hollowness under the eyes. Because PRP contains your body’s own growth factors in high concentrations, it effectively promotes the growth of collagen which creates fullness of the skin. Hyaluronic acid can be a great addition to PRP, maximizing its healing effects. Like PRP, hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body that, when injected into the skin, jumpstarts the process of repair to further increase volume, while PRP builds collagen. Answer: PRP may be worth a shot PRP uses the body’s own growth factors (drawn from your blood and spun through a centrifuge), to help promote healing and rejuvenation. PRP also encourages collagen production, which plumps the skin, which may assist in filling out dark hollows. We all suffer from dark circles from time to time, however persistent dark circles can lead to a loss of self-confidence. Whilst genetics and ageing are both implicated poor sleep, dehydration and stress are other lifestyle factors that can worsen dark circles and make you look tired and worn. Sun exposure can make the skin around the eyes particularly susceptible to UV damage. If lifestyle remedies have failed, PRP may be worth a shot while dermal fillers can also plump up fat pads under the eyes, although a consult is a must to ensure that you are getting the most appropriate treatment for your circumstances.
