The 40cc difference will likely not be a visible difference. I think either size implant will give you more than 1 cup increase.

Based on your description you may have an infection - from your photographs it appears to be a superficial wound and with local wound care it should resolve. Please ensure you seek an in person exam from your plastic surgeon since it is not getting better.

Reducing breast size can be done by losing weight, however if this is not an option then I'm afraid there is not other choice but surgery (breast reduction or liposuction).
