Wanting to grow out moustache to cover scar on upper lip. Will hair grow where there's a scar? (Photos)

Last year I had a motor bike accident I have a scar on my upper lip, it's been 1 year still the hair is not growing please suggest me a solution. I wonder if theres any methods in speeding up the moustache growth or surgery ...?

This is not from the minoxidil there are other reasons and you should have your hair revaluated to determine what is the cause.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Minoxidil itself causes skin reaction and results in itching and skin irritation. If this is what you have, switching to the foam for will not help the reaction you are seeing

In my opinion , it is impossible to predict whether you will have any decreased effectiveness due to a change in your minoxidil concentration. Minoxidil 2% was used for years , however the male concentration of 5% was always more effective. I would suggest adding a microneedle roller to the 2%...

In my opinion, two ingredients of the minoxidil may be causing your problem. The alcohol could be causing it to be dry and Flaky. The propylene glycol could be causing an irritation reaction. My suggestion is go to a hair loss expert and have them prescibe you a specially compounded version of...
