What could be the worst side effects? I have this on my face? My doctor says it will go off in a weeks time.

this is the typical apperance of sublative or ematrix procedures. It takes 3-7 days to heal, I suggest post procedural skin care.  Consider someone who actually blends the pulses together at your next visit, there is skip areas in the photo you posted.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I would hope that this discussion is one that your physician had with you prior to your treatment.  If you have concerns about your skin immediately after treatment I would contact your surgeon.  Your surgeon will know better than anyone else exactly what type of treatment you had, how aggressive it was, and the time course over which some of these changes may improve.

This stamping result is not unexpected. This may or may not improve. This is also not a resurfacing procedure. A safer device for wrinkles and tightening is the Infini. It is also going to treat with many more passes if this is what your skin looks like after treatment.
