I am sorry to hear about your burns.   It is difficult to put an exact time frame on your recovery but it is extremely important that you be treating your skin properly at this point in order to achieve best outcomes.  I suggest seeing a physician who is experienced in the management of complications like this and making certain you have a good treatment plan.

This is very sad, in some instances this can be permanent. It may take 3-6 months to see the final improvement if it starts to occur.  The most important thing right now is to prevent any additional burn (ie sun protection).  See a laser expert for treatment.  Best, Dr. Emer.
