I had my CO2 laser treatment of my VEN birthmark and now after 20-22 days, it has left a pink scar tissue. I am very concerned about it. Will this get like normal skin? How should I take care of it?

You should follow up with your cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation. They should also be able to provide after care instructions to follow to improve healing. Typically, CO2 works best in conjunction with other treatments to improve skin texture and boost collagen production. Also, be sure to use a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 25 or higher. Follow up with your doctor.

I would advise you to visit your dermatologist or your treating doctor for the treatment of your scar. The scar looks little deep and requires active intervention like sun protection, anti-inflammatory drugs and growth promoters.
