I want to use minoxidle for my facial hair and I know it'll make my moustache hair thicker but i cannot use it for my whole life so, if I discontinue it , will it make my moustache hair (which will become thicker after I use minoxidle) become tiny, like i had it before......if not how can a thick hair shrink (I.e, become softer and tiny).....

Facial hair is a genetic trait.  If you weren't born with the genes for facial hair, medications will not likely help.Hair transplant may be an option.

Be patient - some men don't develop moustache and beard hair until their mid-twenties. There is often a family history of late facial hair development although this is not always present.

What you need is patience. IF the mustache thickens up with minoxidil, it will not be a lifetime commitment because eventually your beard and mustache will grow. Give it 10 years or so. Ask you dad, brother, grandfathers on both sides of the family how long it took to grow their beards, and you will probably follow their course.Patience is a virtue and at 19, that virtue is pressed. I remember an experience with one of my 8 year old sons, who was demanding something (can't remember what) so I told him that he needed to have patience. His response was: "I can't have patients, I'm not a doctor". So patience is clearly not patients, and patience is something we learn with time.
