Will taking Finpecia long-term have any effect on kidney in near future?

Hello, I'm 23, male. Was suffering from much hair loss... my dermatologist suggested finpecia and topical solution tugain 10%. Does taking the tablet finpecia life long has any effect on kidney? since taking any tablet lifelong is dangerous right? Please suggest what to do?

Kidney damage is not a side effect of finasteride.  Ask your doctor who knows your personal medical issues.

Kidney failure is not listed as a side effect of taking finasteride 1mg orally daily on the patient information leaflet for Propecia.

Finpecia is finasteride, but make in India by Ready Pharmaceuticals. There are no kidney risks by taking this drug. IF you happen to have kidney disease and you want to take finasteride, talk to your doctor and he may reduce the dose.
