Won’t implants make my droopy eyelids even more droopy? (Photos)

Question

If you put something under the skin, won’t it pull skin away from other parts of the face including the eye area thus creating droopy eyelids like what I already have? I’m positive malar implants would be perfect for me but this is what worries me the most

All facial implants are placed over the bone and underneath the thick , elastic sheet, called periosteum. If properly placed , migration (displacement of implant) is very rare complication. In your case, implant would augment your relatively small cheek bone and stretch soft tissue on top, creating effect of fullness. There will be no droopiness. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.

That is an incorrect supposition. Implants actually create volume and tissue push. Malar implants are placed intraorally and have no negative impact on lower eyelid position. But if a lower eyelid approach is to be used, which would be true for infraorbital implants, adjunctive procedures to treat your already droopy eyelids would be warranted. (lateral canthoplasty, spacer grafts)
