Feeling an imant after breast augmentation is not an uncommon scenerio. Even though your surgeon mentioned that your implant is under te muscle, most of the time it actually is only partially under the muscle I what's called a dual plane approach. Most plastic surgeons will still refer to it as under the muscle to our patients. Therefore in thin people and larger implants, the implant aide and bottom is felt easily.
You have to remember that what you have are implants, not natural tissues. They are synthetic and in the process of making a breast bigger can be felt as different than your natural breast. Palpability of implant edges are very common particularly in thin patients with little natural breast tissue and to the bottom and sides of the breasts where there is not complete muscular cover.
Depending on many factors, including the amount of breast and/or soft tissue a specific patient has, breast implants can be palpable in many areas on the chest wall, despite appropriate placement of the implants in the sub muscular position. Your plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to ruling out a breast implant displacement or malposition problem. Best wishes.
I can't imagine how plastic surgeons are able to charge this amount for breast augmentation. The cost of maintaining a pristine OR with state of the art technology and staffing the OR with exceptional medical professionals is not inexpensive.Plastic surgeons will have different prices based on...
Thank you for the pictures. In my opinion I believe that 280 cc's implant will not give you a C cup, I would suggest between 350- 375 cc's for you to obtain a full C cup.Best wishesDr. Campos

There are many possibilities here ranging from completely benign and self-limited to bad things. Best to see your surgeon who can evaluate it and appreciate where it is and follow it up to make sure it isn't getting larger or need to be removed/biopsied.
I don't have my patients wear wire in their bras for 2 to 3 months because I don't want the implant to be pushed into a new position. Wearing wire is not the problem for the most part but wire push up bras are a potential to give you problems later on. I tell patients wear what is...
Your symptoms sound like this could also be a possible anxiety situation (chest discomfort, variable, heart workup was normal). I would recommend that you seek medical attention and also see your PS to look at the implants. Good luck
