Can you get one implant when you have asymmetrical breasts? would it look normal to have one implant to correct the A cup to match the C cup? Each breast looks normal itself, but one is very much larger that the other one. the smaller one has a nipple and areola that is a good size for that breast, and the same with the larger one.
Answer: Breast Asymmetry Correction
The proper answer depends on what exactly your individual expectations are. It is important to understand that breast asymmetry and nipple-areolar asymmetry are typically almost impossible to fully correct with one surgery alone. It is hard to make breasts that are uneven in all their characteristics and dimensions perfectly even.
Therefore many options are available to you depending on what you seek. You could have a breast implant on one breast only. You could have a reduction of the larger breast. You could have a breast augmentation of both breasts with different size implants. These are just some basic options.
Psychologically you may feel better to have a symmetric procedure. Therefore I would advise you to consider have a bilateral breast augmentation. It will make you feel better than to have an implant only in one side and its more likely to offer you better results with just one surgery.

Answer: Breast asymmetry options Thank you for your question. Breast asymmetry is very common, particularly size asymmetry. If you are looking to decrease the asymmetry from one breast to another, then you have several options: 1) You can reduce the larger breast with liposuction or a traditional breast reduction technique 2) You can enlarge the smaller one with fat grafting or an implant 3) You can enlarge both but use different size implants 4) A lift procedure may also be needed to help address differences in shape, nipple position and areolar size.I would visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options in more detail.

Answer: Yes, one implant is possible It is certainly possible to get one breast implant to even out the size asymmetry. You can also get a breast reduction to make the larger breast smaller. The choice is up to you.

Answer: Uneven breasts
If you have some sort of mal formation and one breast is significantly different than the other a breast implant could reduce the noticeability of the difference. Perfect symmetry is a myth however it is possible to make you feel more comfortable in your body. Talk with your surgeon and ask about other women who have been in your situation and maybe they can provide you with pictures.

Answer: Assymetric breasts- can you get one breast implant?
It is very possible to have one breast implant, but to get accurate results we may have to do surgery on both breast depending on skin laxity, nipple placement, droopiness, etc that can affect the result of a certain size of an implant regardless of breast volume.Every patient is different. The same-sized implant can have a different effect on different patients. To get the best results, you should contact a board certified plastic surgeon and set up a consultation. I can't precisely tell you without seeing you.
Best regards,
Dr. Speron
