Is it possible to get veneers to correct a bite? None of my teeth touch when I bite down besides the left central incisor. I had braces and my teeth are pretty straight. When I got my braces removed my bite was ok, all my teeth touched and aligned together properly. I did have my top 2nd molars worked on for cavities. After that is when I noticed my bite being off. I’m not sure if my jaw moved due to not having teeth being how they were or because the dentist shaved the teeth down too short.

Hi:I believe the veneers would still be the material of choice. An experienced cosmetic dentist using a master technician should be able to make the smile very natural.Best,Dr. Maddahi
I appreciate your question.
The strength of the bond between your tooth and the veneer is highly technique and skill sensitive and dependent on the materials used. The alcohol in mouthwash should not have any effect on a properly bonded veneer, but if you still have concerns...
There are two choices here: porcelain veneers now, or braces and THEN porcelain veneers. If you are planning on porcelain veneers no matter what, I would simply do them now and save the time/money.
