I have a birthmark on the side of my lower abdomen (picture given). I want to get a black tattoo over my birthmark covering it up. However I have heard that tattoo over birthmark is linked to increased risk of skin cancer. Please let me know if it is true

In my opinion, CO2 laser would be the best solution to decreasing pore size. If you are concerned about making it worse, you can start with a less invasive IPL laser to get some improvement. Hope this helps

If you have a history of shingles around the eye, a recurrence is certainly possible after laser resurfacing of the face, so I would not recommend that laser procedure. It is also possible, though much less likely, to have a recurrent shingles outbreak after non-ablative laser...
