What's the difference between a BBL and fat transfer?

Essentially these two procedures are the same. Fat transfer in tales taking fat from one area of the body and injecting it into another area. When fat is transferred to the buttock it is technically called buttock augmentation with fat transfer. Often we refer to fat transfer to the buttock as a Brazilian Butt Lift. Technically the lift is obtained by injection of fat.

Hello, to my knowledge they are both the same thing. The BBL is just a name for the fat transfer to the buttock area.

A Brazilian butt lift and fat transfer is essentially the same thing. The main difference is that fat grafting can be performed almost anywhere in the body. On the other hand, a Brazilian butt lift is when an amount of fat is injected into the buttocks area of the body. The grafting of the fat to the buttocks region (Brazilian butt lift) not only provides a lift to the buttocks but it also makes the area rounder and larger than before the procedure.
