Can I get a BA and tonsillectomy in the same week?

Yes both could be done within a week but I do not believe that you will feel great if you do.  Either do both under one anesthesia or give yourself more time in between.  Good luck.

You need to talk to the two surgeons involved. The main issue will be the swelling and pain of the tonsillectomy.  You will likely need about two weeks between procedures and it would not really matter which one you do first.  Good luck!

Although it is nice to combine procedures and minimize downtime, I would keep your current operative schedule the way  it is. You will be well healed from the tonsillectomy by august and will avoid possible problems caused by combining these operations. In elective cosmetic surgery we like to minimize risk. There is a theoretical concern that bacteria can enter the bloodstream during the tonsillectomy and contaminate the breast implant leading to infection or capsular contracture. Although inconvenient I would recommend two separate procedures 4-6 weeks apart. Good luck. 

Although there are many surgeries that can be done in combination such as liposuction and abdominoplasty, blepharoplasty and breast augmentation,and breast reduction and abdominoplasty, a tonsillectomy would not be a good choice to combine with a breast augmentation.  There is a risk of infection that is unacceptable with this combination.

Infection is perhaps the most significant complication that occurs with breast augmentation. Fortunately, the infection rate overall is very low. If you have a procedure that causes bacteria to enter your bloodstream, however, like dental work or a tonsillectomy, then risk of a breast implant infection increases. I would recommend having the tonsillectomy first, then waiting for the augmentation until the tonsillectomy is healing well, probably at least a few weeks.

I agree with the answers that you have already received. The recovery from the tonsillectomy is substantial in adult and I would caution against doing these procedures at the same time.

Your request is unusual.  Although combination or multiple surgeries are common not a tonsillectomy and breast augmentation. This combo makes me a little nervous.  I would recommend during each separately.

I can definitely see your argument!!!! Unfortunately it would not be a good idea to have them done in the same week. The main reason would be the risk of bacterial contamination of your implants. Although we don't have all the answers, one theory around breast capsular contracture is a bacterial biofilm. So even if it doesn't cause an actual infection, it could set you up for a capsule formation down the track.

A month is probably a safe period to allow everything from your tonsils to have healed.

Although it is common to do plastic surgery procedures at the same setting, sometimes in combination with other types of surgery. However, the combination with a tonsillectomy is not a good one, because of the potential of introducing bacteria that could contaminate the implants. I would do the tonsils first, and wait a month or whatever longer interval is convenient.
