Can I carry on exercising with ruptured silicone implants until I have them removed? (Photo)

Usually for an intracapsular leak there is no need for immediate attention, but as you have an extracapsular leak as well which in my opinion is an indication for rapid removal of the implant.

You may continue to exercise until you can have your implants removed.  It is recommended that the capsules are removed along with the ruptured implants.  The surgical time to complete the procedure will vary based on the extent of the rupture and if a lift will be performed.  Your surgeon will be able to provide you with a time estimate after an examination.

It is perfectly safe to continue to work out prior to your surgery, even with a ruptured implant.  Removing the capsule most likely will be necessary on the ruptured side, possibly on both sides (sometimes the surgeon has to make a decision intraoperatively; if the capsule looks inflamed or thickened, it is removed).  The surgery lasts anywhere between 1 and 2 hours.  Good luck.
