I currently receive trigger point injections, (about 25+ per appointment). They help for several days & then it's time to do it again. I understand that Botox is used for the face & bladder sometimes, lasting about 3 to 4 months. I'm wondering if it could relieve the knots & tension in my lower back muscles so I can function again. Or is that a bad idea in that area?

I am not aware of any issues that would arise with Botox injections due to pre-existing temporal arteritis. You should still get good cosmetic results with an experienced dermatologist.
