Answer: Timing
Ibuprophen takes at least 48 hours to dissipate. Ask your doctor how he feels about the timing. You may bruise more but, I have done facelift procedures at 48 hours without problems

Answer: Things To Avoid Before SmartLipo
Understand that not only does aspirin-containing medications, but also non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen can cause increased bleeding, and therefore causing more swelling, discomfort and prolonged healing time after SmartLipo. It is best to wait at least 7-10 days after taking ibuprofen. Hopefully, you are also aware that there is a host of "natural supplements" that can also be detrimental to your healing process. Be sure to consult your doctor, who hopefully will provide you with a list of contraindicated over-the-counter as well as prescription drugs, foods and drinks that should be avoided prior to the Smartlipo procedure.
