8 weeks post-op and I have a persistent seroma with fibrinous septations. What would be your recommendations? (photos)

this is a difficult problem for patients and surgeons and i am sorry to hear that you are experiencing it.  seroma may affect 10% of tummy tucks.  the treatment is to drain it as your surgeon has been doing but it can take repeated aspirations to help the seroma to disappear.  'septations' means that there are small membranes visible within the bubble of seroma fluid - this may make it a bit more difficult to draw fluid off because it is in compartments and/or bits of membrane get stuck in the needle.
so, the bulge that your photos show is a combination of some post op tissue swelling and also the seroma.  as the seroma and the post surg swelling settle, the contour of your tummy should improve also but it will take a few more months I anticipate.
