Are stem cell therapy and PRP treatments effective for severe dandruff causing hair fall?

Thoughtful question. PRP has anti-inflammatory effects and will usually improve itching, burning and tingling of the scalp. It will not affect sebum production and therefore the amount of dandruff. Stem cell activity on the scalp has yet to be fully determined. You should see a hair loss expert to determine the cause of your shedding.

You will need a full medical examination by a dermatologist to exclude other causes of hair loss. PRP is not a treatment for DANDRUFF, simple shampoos can help.
