Minoxidil is actually a antihypertensive medication.When used topically there can be some absorption systemically resulting in a slight lowering of the blood pressure.I am not familiar with the medication you mentioned (Telma)-I would discuss this with your PCP or whoever is managing your blood pressure.

Telma (telmisartan) and minoxidil are both anti-hypertensive medications that can lower blood pressure. Oral telmisartan affects blood pressure much more profoundly that topical minoxidil but nevertheless some users of minoxidil who have blood pressure issues can experience further reduction in blood pressure and dizziness (and other side effects). You’ll want to review with your physician. Many people with androgenetic aiopecia can use blood pressure medications and topical minoxidil without issue.
