Helo dr.i took prp treatment but i didnt get any result instead of that i got black spots. It became ugly.suggest me what me.dr.suggested to use kojic cream for dat spots.how long it tskes to clear dat spots.please help me.
Answer: No results after PRP I'm sorry to hear bout your experience. It would be helpful to know the type of PRP you had. Was it injected? Was PRP sprayed over rmicroneedling? Is your dark spot from needle or micro needling?. It is a safe treatment for all skin types but PIH ( Post inflammatory reactions can occur and will take some time to heal. Regarding no results, It is over hyped expectation and it wold be nice to know what kind of result were you looking for. It takes multiple treatments to see any results. When done correctly for the right indication, PRP with micro needling on the face is a very effective procedure. PRP is not done to "fill" the face or replace volume. It will stimulate collagen formation and soften the appearance of fine lines. Used with aggressive micro needling, it softens acne and other scars. Depending on the condition being treated and the patient's skin type, multiple treatments may be needed for best results. When one experiences dark spots, as you describe, a lightening cream such as hydroquinone will usually remove them. This may take up to ninety days. One should always obtain an in person consult with a physician very experienced in both PRP and the use of lightening creams for best results. Have a wonderful day.

Answer: PIH after PRP Vampire Facelift and no results PIH is treated with topicals and duration is variable. In some patients it is hard to treat while others it is easier. No results from the PRP facelift is not surprising. It is an over hyped procedure with minimal results. Look at before and afters. They are either no change or differences in lighting. I do think that it is effective for hair loss. In addition, most of the PRP being given is not quality PRP either. It must be 6x to be the most effective and most are about 2x (2 times the platelet concentration of the blood).
