Did severe vomiting 3 - 4 days following profractional laser and vampire facelift diminish the success of these procedures?

Hello.  I hope you feel better and the vomiting has resolved.  It is interesting if you vomited because of  the pain killer given to you for fractional laser resurfacing.  Maybe nothing was given to you at all and it's simply a coincidence.  Either way, vomiting does not interfere with any laser/cosmetic procedures. It is unlikely that vomiting will negatively impact your results. I always combine lasers and prp with microneedling, sculptra for collagen building and ultherapy for skin tightening to get the best results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer.

Dear debraibergerson~Thanks for your question.  It is common for patients to have nausea and vomiting after surgical and laser procedures, particularly after anesthesia.  The redness on your face is likely unrelated to the vomiting.  The best thing you can do for your recovery would be to focus on your nutrition and hydration going forward so that you can optimize your healing.  Consider limiting the use of pain medications that could be the cause of your nausea/vomiting, or switching to a different medication if necessary.  Please follow-up with your physician with any concerns.Best wishes for your recovery,Amy Hsu
