I'm 33 and starting to notice weight gain on my tummy. What is the best option for removal and tightening with option for fat transfer to the hip dips. Im looking at Endolift Vaser Renuvion Liposculpture Endolift seems like great noninvasive option, but doesn't leave the option for fat transfer to the hip dips. Im scared of lipo because of possible irregularities to the stomach- which i want to avoid at all cost. Looking for possible dr recommendations.
Answer: Body contouring The best option for fat removal and transfer will always be liposuction using a soft or high definition, whichever you prefer. But also doing so with the best technology during your surgery and after, using Ultrasonic device (Vaser), power assisted liposuction (Microaire) and skin tightening technology (J-Plasma by Renuvion or Bodytite by Inmode). Also after by doing your postop massages with qualified people, radiofrequency and mesotherapy. All this is done for you, looking for your safety and best results.

Answer: What is the best stomach lipo option w/ fat transfer? Nice posted photos. My opinion is using only traditional lipo to save as many fat cels over any energy based technology always kills fat cells. You need more of an experienced surgeon than fancy technology.

Answer: Getting liposuction To get consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer result there are only two variables that matter and I suggest you focus your efforts on only those two variables. The two variables that matter our patient candidacy and the skill of the surgeon. Living consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe it. The number of providers who do these procedures well on a consistent basis and have the ability to make accurate assessment is relatively few. Do not choose providers based on what equipment I use. Equipment is not one of the variables that determines quality outcomes. The devices they use don’t deliver as efficient impact worthy of choosing a provider that has them. Plastic surgeons have the equipment they need to do their work. Do you choose a car mechanic based on what brand tools they have? Do you choose plumbers based on what tools they have? Do you buy bread from the bakery because of the name of the oven? Don’t choose plastic surgeons based on them trying to market it themselves because they bought a new piece of equipment. In regards to Renuvion a.k.a. J plasma I bought the device and used it for a year. I literally saw zero improvement in skin tightening but objectively and subjectively and not a single one of my patients thought that the procedure made their skin tighter. The device adds complications and made the procedure more painful during surgery and after. It does not give you skin tightening. In your case you already have a good skin so you don’t need skin tightening regardless of how desirable it may seem. What do you need is someone who is master Liposuction and that is going to take doing some homework. To properly bad plastic surgeons requires having multiple in person consultations. I don’t personally believe you can do it from a computer or cell phone. Find the plastic surgeons to do the most amount of liposuction in your community or potentially consider an outfit like Elite Body Sculpture. During each in person consultation bring proper pictures of your body in a printed format. Pictures should show your body from your shoulders to your knees showing your front come outside and back side. In your case I think you could get away with doing on the Liposuction. If Liposuction is done from the Center of the hip dip through your love handles and you should be able to get a fairly ideal S-curve without needing to add fat. adding fat can make the procedure more impressive and accentuate the ask her a little further. If you take the first picture you included and draw an asked curve along the contour starting at your armpits and finishing just above your knee you’ll see that all that’s really needed this to remove the phone is just above your hip dip and you have a perfect S-curve. That could be achieved with well done Liposuction by itself. That type of work is best done with you laying on your side. Personally I prefer to do contouring with patients awake using local anesthesia with mild sedation. This allows me to have patients whole different positions and I generally contour everything except in front of the abdomen with patient laying on their side. this displays the S-curve are perfectly and is the ideal position to do a liposuction of that part of the body. Putting people on their side is a bit cumbersome when using general anesthesia. it can be done but most plastic surgeons rely on people laying on their back or face down when using General anesthesia. To properly vet plastic surgeons I recommend having multiple in person consultations. Bring copies of pictures of your own body to use for reference. During each consultation ask providers to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures. Ask providers to only show you previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own. Because candidacy varies massively in what can and cannot be accomplished with the procedure you need to see results of patients who were similar candidates for the procedures that you are. Providers are going to be resistant to show you all of their outcomes. They will instead prefer to show you preselected images representing some of their best outcomes in their career. Well this may be more impressive it does not tell you what average results look like or how many of these procedures they have actually performed. In the end it doesn’t matter what the best outcome looks like. That only happened for one person. matters is what average results look like on a previous patient who had your candidacy for the procedure. For reference and experience surgeon should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 that’s a before and after pictures of family perform procedures like abdominal liposuction with or without fat transfer. Look very carefully at all treated areas to make sure there are no skin contour irregularities anywhere. Ask the plastic surgeon to point out exactly what areas were treated and what areas were not treated and look very carefully a transition zone between treated and I’m treated areas to make sure they look natural. Personally I view the torso as a single anatomic unit and generally prefer to treat the entire torso when doing Liposuction. by treating the torso as a single anatomic unit patients are left with an even thin fat distribution without transition zones between treated and untreated areas. The full torso includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles (all the way to the center of the hip dip), waist, full back and under arms (armpits) all the way to the side of the breasts. Highly experienced surgeons to what in fact have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures to choose from. It should not be difficult for them to show you what looks like an endless stream of before and after pictures of prior patients who had similar body characteristics to your own. As providers to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes and outcomes that did not turn out as well as they had hoped for. we all have a variety of outcomes and it’s fair game for patients to ask to see them. A sufficiently experienced and talented provider should not be apprehensive to do this and should be confident enough to show it any type of result you wish to look at. There should be what seems like a telephone box worth of it before and after pictures for you to review. Being shown a handful of preselected images representing their best work is completely insufficient to properly vet a plastic surgeon and minimize the chance of developing contour irregularities or being left disfigured from this procedure. Bing board-certified in plastic surgery with an overall good reputation and years of experience is not sufficient to confirm that somebody has mastered Liposuction. Doing this procedure well it’s far more difficult than most people believe. Most plastic surgeons think they’re better at Liposuction than they actually are. Substantial number of plastic surgeons think of liposuction as a simplistic procedure with a low learning curve. Doing liposuction well on a consistent basis including the ability to make accurate assessments and predict outcomes and show numerous before and after pictures of previous patients with similar bodies and deliver the same type of results on a regular basis is actually extremely difficult and the number of providers who can do this is rare. There is no correct number of consultations needed but the more consultations you have the higher the chance of you finding the best provider. Take careful notes during each consultation about the overall thoroughness of the consultation and especially of the quantity and quality of before and after pictures. Learn how much of the hip dip can be removed from doing on the liposuction and who actually needs fat transfer to get S-curve correct. You may be surprised at how good results can be without needing to resort to doing fat transfer.Fattic transfer is a far more complex procedure than doing liposuction. It is more unforgiving and more unpredictable so please choose carefully. I recommend patient start by having at least five in person consultations and consider scheduling more if needed. Please please please stop looking for magical equipment that can make the procedure go better. Liposuction and fat transfer do not require fancy equipment. The benefits that these devices offer is blown out of proportion and in the end has very little to do with quality outcomes. As I mentioned earlier there are only two variables that really matter. Your candidacy and the skill of the surgeon. If you focus on just those two variables you are more likely to choose the right provider. If you select providers based on what equipment they use then you’ll be eliminating potentially perfect providers. This has been my experience during the last 23 years of being a board-certified plastic surgeon. I’ve note I’ve spent the last 10 years doing only liposuction and fat transfer procedures. To date I have done over 8000 liposuction and fat transfer procedures and I am one of the only board-certified plastic surgeons in the United States who exclusively does only liposuction and fat transfer. When it comes to Liposuction and fat transfer do you need to be more selective then your body ever necessary. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD
