What is the effect of sun on bruising?

I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty and rhytidectomy 5 weeks ago. Why does my PS insist that I have to stay out of the sun COMPLETELY until the bruising has gone away? How does sun exposure affect bruising? I still have some bruising mid cheek and in my jaw and neck below and behind my ears. I use a good sunscreen and my makeup has an SPF factor of 35.

Residual eye bags after lower blepharoplasty may be due to excess skin, residual excess fat or hollowing along the orbital rim. Posting photos would help us determine if additional treatments are warranted.

Were the stitches dissolvable? If so it will eventually dissolve.  A nodule can be from a suture, and can be from a buried suture if those were also used.  It can also just be a type of cyst, or an inflammatory nodule.  May need to be either excised or injected. ...

You do not appear to have an "operated" under eye appearance. Your lower eyelids appear a bit swollen still, and your lower eyelid appearance will improve. Best to discuss your concerns with your surgeon or visit another reputable oculoplastic or facial plastic surgeon for an evaluation.Wishing...

It is difficult to judge based on these images. You seem to have slight eyelid ptosis but that should not cause puffiness in the morning. Your surgery, if needed, has to be done by someone who has sufficient experience since you have dry eyes to start with. An examination buy one of us who...
