July - reast Reduction Sept - Panniculectomy with Extended Muscle Repair Oct - Wound Repair My 't' began to close as expected, then opened and after 4 weeks of Wet/Dry packing, I opted for my PS to go back in and clean and close the wound, rather than a wound vac as a wound specialist suggested. Pictures attached, i am just curious what I can expect long term for opting for the sucture close method. Scar tissue build up? Or possibly what else?

It is very typical to have swelling in the mons this early after panniculectomy. Swelling can take up to 6 months to resolve. I would however, have close follow up with your surgeon to make sure you do not develop a seroma that could be contributing to the swelling and may need early...
It appears you have an area of separation with some exudate that will require debridement and wound care to get it to heal. It is not uncommon for panniculectomies to have some problems healing. I would return to your surgeon for more aggressive wound care.
