My Obgyn said he can remove a bit of excess skin during C-section but it wouldn't be a tummy tuck.

I have a bit of loose skin/stretch marks from my first pregnancy and this will be my last. Obgyn said he can remove bit of excess skin but it's not a tummy tuck. Would it make the scar worse or larger? Im worried if an inch or two is removed it will look funny after my body changes over the months? I've only gained 24 pounds so far and hope not to gain more than another 7. Should my body bounce back after the skin removal relatively well?
