had implants for 5 years and think one may be leaking . ive noticed a decrease in volume abt a month and a half ago but my bra still fits just not as much cleavage as other side .. doc said just to watch it but i dont want to wake ine day and its flat

Answer: Saline leak? It is possible you have a "micro-leak" that will slowly allow your implant to deflate. The saline should be safely absorbed by your body. If you continue to see a slow deflation/volume loss and you have not lost any significant weight, then it would be wise to visit with a board certified PS to learn more about your options. Answer: Deflation of saline implants The short answer to your question is yes. On occasion the valve of the saline implant can develop a leak which is slow rather than the more common sudden and complete leakage. Keep in mind that there is no risk to you with a deflated implant other than dealing with the assymetry before it is replaced. If it is leaking it likely will continue to get smaller. Try laying on your back and getting a photo from your feet. I find this can be most useful in looking at smaller differences in volume.
